If you are a foreigner and you come to Vietnam. In the first time, I think you will hate Vietnam. But if you live in here in someday or long time. I swear you will love Vietnam. Why? Because, there are some hidden charm you don’t know. Now, let me introduce some things about Vietnam.
I don’t have much chance to go all of region in Vietnam but some things about Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city, two city is the most famous in Vietnam, I think is enough to understand about Vietnam – country – people.
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, a city is quite small with narrow streets, ancient and very crowded. Population density is double China’s population density. So, you can imagine level terrible of traffic. If you come here in the first time and you want to cross a road. Oh, so many vehicle on the street and you feel very dangerous. This is the first thing you don’t like when you come to Hanoi. But, don’t worry about it, you can go very slow when you cross a road, all of vehicle on the street will give way for you.
The weather is quite severe, with 4 season, the summer is very hot and the winter is piercingly cold, though there isn’t snow. This is the second thing you don’t like.
There are only 2 things you don’t like when you come to Hanoi, but many things you will like. Although the weather is quite severe. But, the winter is a main reason make to fair skin for girl live in North region of Vietnam and with me, girls in Vietnam is quite cute ..^_^..
Autumn is the most beautiful in our country with golden light, blue sky and gentle breeze. It is very romantic season. If coming here in this season you can see many weddings.
Almost all of people in Hanoi is quite quiet, simple and very kind. If you need some help from them, they will be very enthusiastic to help you. Example, you need find the way to go somewhere and you ask a person, if he don’t know, he will ask another one for you. And it’s quite easy to find the way in Vietnam because almost of road name is wrote in Vietnamese, it is the same in English. But, be careful if you go to ancient street, it’s very difficult to find the way in here ..^_^..
Hanoi is quite small but it contain much beautiful scenery, many beautiful lake and ancient architecture. Coming here, you can go around Hanoi by taxi (It’s very cheap..hmm..hmm less 1USD for 1km), by pedicab (a special vehicle in my country, you will feel very exciting to go by it) or saunter around some lake.
Suburb of Hanoi are trade villages, many many poterry, embroide, silk, bamboo and rattan product...in there. It’s very beautiful and not so expensive. You can come there to buy, see or do. Yes, you can do, you can knead some pottery product and local people will bake it for you and finally you can take it come back to your country. Of course, you have to pay money for these services.

Unlike Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city (HCM) is very modern. It is favoured by nuture, there are not winter, that region is very well off with many precious product. And it’s not so difficult to earn their living in here. As a reason, making different character of people in here and people in Hanoi. People in HCM is very ebullient and liberal in disposition. Voice of them is still different compare to people in Hanoi. With me, I like their voice, it is so lovely voice. Hehe. (Although, pronunciation of Hanoi is standard).
In HCM, many many kind of fruits, fruits are very cheap and fresh, it is grow and harvest from region near HCM. Thousands of flowers display their coulours all year around, it make charming beauty for HCM.
Being a center of south region, HCM is also a biggest port of this region. Near of city is many industrial zone with 50 – 60% enterprise of country. HCM is really a modern city to satify dynamic people to work and spend money with big contract, many enterprise and luxurious shop.
